Description
Architectural trouvailles in the midst of beautiful landscapes can create an interesting tension between nature and settlement space. This is shown by various projects realised in Switzerland and neighbouring countries in recent years. This book takes you on a walking tour of these objects. They are independent buildings - some of them penned by well-known architects - with a modern architectural language that reinterprets regional traditions. This book unites the two volumes of the guide Architektur erwandern and forms the appropriate basis for all hiking enthusiasts and lovers of contemporary architecture!
