The shears are forged from S58C carbon steel, a high-quality, hard-wearing steel that retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. The design is a combination of the two traditional Japanese scissor shapes, the A and B type, and offers perfect ergonomics in terms of grip and balance for long use.
