Each incense stick is handmade in the workshop of Apothecary Fragrance. Each stick has a burning time of about 100-110 minutes. A moment of bliss.

Keita Sugasawa emphasises high-quality materials and environmentally friendly processing. Every single product is carefully hand-finished in the atelier, focusing on a high-quality production system with small quantities.

The Makers

APOTHEKE FRAGRANCE is a handmade fragrance brand that manufactures its products in its own factory in Chiba, Japan, where all processes from formulation to production and packaging are carried out. The brand name APOTHEKE means "pharmacy" in German, a place where perfumes and medicinal herbs are made. "The brand name APOTHEKE means "pharmacy" in German.

About 10 years ago, Keita Sugasawa, the founder of the brand, was inspired and impressed by the many perfumeries in the countries he visited. After working in a perfumery to learn about fragrances from scratch, he opened a studio in his hometown in Chiba Prefecture in 2011 and started his own brand of handmade room fragrances.
