Moringa Oleifera has many names: Miracle Tree, Tree of Life, Horseradish Tree (because its roots smell like horseradish) and even "Drumstick Tree", this because of its drooping bean fruits that look like drumsticks.
Originally the Moringa tree comes from the Himalayan region of Northwest India, now this plant is cultivated in over 80 countries. For about 5000 years, the tree has been used in India and is part of Ayurveda medicine.
Moringa leaves taste very rich and pieces of apple and pineapple add the pleasant fruity notes to this complex tea blend, while ginger contributes some spice.
Until now, these exceptional quality raw materials have only been available as loose tea; it is only Sirocco's handmade tea bags that make it possible to process these premium teas as individually packaged tea portions.
The handmade bags made of biodegradable material are packed on the basis of natural corn starch (no nylon). Without the use of glue or staples, each bag is individually sewn by hand with unbleached, natural cotton thread - truly a small work of art.
