MORINOKI elegantes japanische Brotmesser aus Holz und Edelstahl

Beschreibung

This elegant Japanese bread knife made of wood and stainless steel was designed by Shizu Hamono in Seki City Japan. The blade consists of two different tooth levels so that not only bread, but also vegetables and fruit can be cut easily and evenly. The end of the blade cuts easily through hard crusts, while the middle part slices bread gently. The knife cuts very cleanly so that the slices are nice and thin and there are hardly any crumbs. The handle is made of solid Japanese Zelkova.

Each knife comes in a cardboard box for storage or gifting

.

The quality craftsmen at Shizu Hamono in Seki produce and sharpen kitchen knives that embrace contemporary trends. SEKI's knives are special because they follow in the footsteps of the first craftsman 780 years ago. Master swordsmith Hiroshige moved from Kyusyu to Seki and began making a sword. The Seki blacksmiths and the city of Seki honour Hiroshige as the founder of swordsmithing in Seki, and the city of Seki also holds the Kuyo-matsuri (commemorative festival) every year on 8 November.
Seki has produced many skilled sculptors such as Kanemoto Magoroku and Kanesada Izumimori.
