The bottom of each candle has a hole so it can be used with a pierced candle holder. If a burnt wick gets long, it can be removed with tweezers or a Candle Snuffer to prevent the candle from burning too quickly.

The candle comes in a beautiful gift box. The burning time is approx. 15 minutes each.

The Makers

The Daiyo family business was founded in 1914 in Shiga Prefecture, Japan. Now in its fourth generation, they make authentic Japanese candles that are known nationwide for their quality and beauty. All Daiyo candles are intricately handcrafted by master artisans using traditional methods and made exclusively from vegetable waxes. It is said that there are only 10 master craftsmen left in Japan who have mastered this type of traditional candle making.
