William Whiteley and Sons was founded in 1760 and is now Britain's last industrial scissor manufacturer and the oldest scissor smith in the western world. Whiteley's is a leading manufacturer of industrial and professional shears and scissors, developing cutting solutions to suit the latest materials in the automotive, aerospace and many other industries. Every pair of scissors the company produces is still handmade, assembled and tested by craftsmen using skills and techniques honed and passed down over centuries.
