Beschreibung

Gentle massage with fine foam

.

This small sturdy wooden bath brush is studded with strong horse hair, making it an environmentally friendly plastic alternative, but most importantly, the natural trim can be used in combination with a good soap to create particularly soft foam - even when showering.
The bath brush fits particularly well in the hand with its ergonomic shape. Horsehair is an excellent material for bath brushes because it is soft and supple, while at the same time it is robust, durable and has a certain elasticity.
We recommend that the bath brush is left to dry hanging or standing up, so that moisture is drawn away from the wood.

.

We have these bath brushes manufactured in a Swedish, all steps are done by hand in proven brush making tradition. The pure natural bristles are also pulled in by hand and carefully lashed with stainless steel wires. The bristles are thus permanently attached to the brush body made of oiled wood and cannot come loose easily. The wood, also from Sweden, shows no cracks even after years of use, the wire no rust.

Today Iris Hantverk consists of 17 employees. The main business is the brush binding factory in Sandsborgsvägen, Enskede. Here six visually impaired craftsmen from different cultures make brushes in the old Swedish tradition. Since August 2012, the company has been run by Richard Sparrenhök and Sara Edhäll. They care a lot about the craftsmen and the survival of brush-making. They believe that many like them appreciate the feel and quality of a hand-drawn brush made from natural materials.

Their vision is to revive the traditional profession of brush binding. By making functional products with good design, combined with the quality of natural materials and the solid technique of the craftsmen.
