The aromatic scents and classy packaging make the hand-poured candles by Apothecary Fragrance a favourite. Keita Sugasawa attaches great importance to high-quality materials and environmentally friendly processing. Each candle is carefully hand-poured in the atelier, focusing on a high-quality production system with small quantities. The scented candle, is made from 100% organic soy wax.

Always trim the wick to 6mm before lighting (we recommend using a wick trimmer). When you light the candle for the first time, let it burn for 3-4 hours so that the melted wax reaches the edge of the container to prevent the candle from forming a tunnel.

The Makers

About 10 years ago, Keita Sugasawa, the founder of the brand, was inspired and impressed by the many perfumeries in the countries he visited. After working in a perfumery to learn about fragrances from scratch, he opened a studio in his hometown in Chiba Prefecture in 2011 and started his own brand of handmade room fragrances.
